First, I’ll tell you the two most common ways to make money from a blog and then we will go into detail about each one below:
– Paid Ads (you have probably seen these before while browsing on Google)
– Affiliate Marketing (this is when a company pays bloggers to market their product or service in exchange for earning commission once people buy it through the link provided by that blogger)
With both of these methods, there are positives and negatives so be aware!
Paid ads usually give higher commissions than affiliate marketing but they also cost more because you need to pay for ad space using “CPC” which means Cost Per Click. Commission usually will be a percentage of what the product cost. So, if your blog has many visitors then you can make more money with paid ads but it requires that many people are actually clicking on them so they don’t just get ignored on Google or Facebook.
